BIO
Shannon O'Shea is an editor and sound designer based in Southern California. She recently obtained her M.F.A. in Film Production from Chapman University in Orange, California after earning her B.A. from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where she received honors of magna cum laude.
She is proficient in a variety of software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, and Pro Tools.
​Shannon has experience both editing and sound designing a large variety of short films and video content, as well as working as the lead assistant editor for an upcoming 16mm feature film. Shannon has also been part of the film faculty at the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute and was a teaching assistant for the MFA Editing program at Chapman.
She has also gained experience in development and production through her time interning for Bona Fide Productions and writer/director Stewart Thorndike. She writes and directs as well, having written/directed several short films and written two features.
